Role Overview:

The Senior Farm Hand at Stanbroke Feedlot is a crucial member of our agricultural team, responsible for overseeing and participating in various farming activities, with a particular focus on crop management and machinery operation. This role requires a seasoned farm hand with substantial experience in growing crops, operating and maintaining farm machinery, and leading a team of junior farm hands.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Crop Management: Oversee and participate in all aspects of crop growing, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
• Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior farm hands, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and infrastructure.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of crop production, machinery usage, and maintenance activities.
• Animal Husbandry: Assist with cattle handling and feedlot operations as needed.
